  I don't like being preached at. When a documentary has a message it should not be bluntly hammered in and Home does just that. A striking series of imagery of the earth seen from the sky tells a stark story that we are destroying the earth and it says nothing else. The droning narration by Glenn Close paints a very gloomy picture and points a hell of a lot of fingers at no one in particular. This is what put me off slightly about Home, the bluntness of the message.

  But then I realize that no matter how bad or agressive the movie tries to tell its message I still know that it is true. Maybe it needs to be this blunt. We are raping this planet for short term profit, that is a fact.

  The next time see this it will be without the narration.

  J'ai failli m'endormir dans mon cours de monde contemporain, parce que la musique te donne vraiment envie de dormir, mais c'était tellement intéressant! Je le recommende vraiment, surtout par rapport à toutes les conversations qu'il y a sur l'environnement présentement, je pense que c'est important de se renseigner sur le sujet du mieux que l'on peut et de prendre conscience de notre empreinte écologique, et ce documentaire-là est rempli d'informations intéressantes.

  Documental a vista de pájaro del planeta Tierra. De la mano del fotógrafo Yann Arthus-Bertrand y acompañado de una estupenda música de Armand Amar, se pueden apreciar algunas de las imágenes más espectaculares de esta fisonomía y cómo ha ido cambiando en estas últimas décadas, algunas situaciones son desoladoras. ¿Debemos preocuparnos por lo que vemos? veanlo y juzguen ustedes mismos. Muy recomendable.

By the photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand and accompanied by great music by Armand Amar, you can see some of the most spectacular images of the features and how it has changed in recent decades, some situations are bleak. Should we worry about what we see? watch it and judge for yourself. Highly recommended.

  Es muy tarde para ser un pesimista, nos dice "Home", un documental que nos presenta maravillosas imagenes, tan hermosas que casi nos olvidamos del mensaje de la pelicula, que es basicamente que debemos cambiar nuestro modo de vida o sera muy tarde. Algunos de los argumentos ya fueron presentados en otros documentales como "An Inconvenient Truth" y "Collapse", la diferencia es que "Home" acompaña esas ideas con espectacular cinematografia causando un gran impacto emocional en el espectador.
  
  Narrada en ingles por la actriz Glenn Close, "Home" es la clase de pelicula que luce bastante en la pantalla grande o al menos aprovechando la maxima resolucion de un bluray. Es de esas peliculas que todo mundo debe ver. Muy recomendable.
