  Amazing!!
  
  A strong criticism about the fact that a person never know everything about her friends/wife/husband and these ones also don't know everything about her...
  
  We all have secrets that we don't want close fiends/family to know and it's really hard to accept this cause we always use a "mask" "assuming" to ourselves that we are always honest with close people..but not...!
  
  Even worst is the fact that we don't hide the same secret of all our close people...we just "choose" to hide a different secret depending on the close person who is...
  
  Amazing acting, script..and God..that end is simply brilliant!
  
  A film to think a lot about it!!
  
  I'm so tense that I think I will have some troubles in sleep well tonight...

  Il pregio migliore di Perfetti Sconosciuti non è il fatto che sia ben scritto, ben girato o che abbia un ritmo trascinante privo di momenti morti. E nemmeno il fatto che sia ben interpretato, o che dica cose intelligenti in maniera intelligente.
  
  Il pregio migliore di Perfetti Sconosciuti è che è pure discretamente esportabile oltre i confini nazionali, cosa più unica che rara.
  
  Visto da fuori sembra una delle tante imitazioni di Carnage sfornate dal cinema italiano in questi anni; per quanto sia innegabilmente ricalcato sul modello polanskiano, ha un'identità tutta sua e una dignità che va ben oltre quella del rifacimento fatto bene. È pieno di finezze narrative, di dettagli di primo acchito superflui e che invece poi vanno ad arricchire il quadro generale, a impreziosire l'intricata rete di rapporti interpersonali costruiti dentro e fuori lo schermo.
  
  Una cena fra amici, a causa di un gioco apparentemente innocuo, si trasforma in una partita a scacchi psicologica tra persone che - nomen omen - di fatto non si conoscono e covano l'un l'altro sentimenti ben lontani dall'affetto.
  
  La sorpresa italiana che non t'aspetti, chapeau.

  Film-film Eropa selalu punya daya tarik tersendiri dan berbeda dari film asal Hollywood. Dulu, ketika masih berdomisili di Jakarta, saya selalu menantikan perhelatan Festival Film Eropa, atau Europe on Screen, yang rutin diadakan setiap tahun. Dan untuk tahun 2018, baru saja dihelat di awal bulan Mei ini. Salah satu film yang diputar adalah Perfect Strangers, film asal Italia yang digarap Paolo Genovese.
  
  Premisnya sederhana, tujuh orang sahabat lama berkumpul makan malam bersama. Lalu mereka sepakat untuk memainkan sebuah permainan sederhana: taruh ponselmu di meja, biarkan semua pesan dan telepon yang masuk untuk disimak bersama. Sekilas tidak masalah. Namun perlahan berubah ketika rahasia kecil mereka terbuka satu per satu.
  
  Saya suka dengan skrip dan dialog yang begitu rapi dan intens, hampir seluruh line berguna dan saling berkaitan.
  
  Chemistry antar tokoh pun terjalin dengan baik dan kokoh. Mungkin satu-satunya kelemahan dan membuat penonton harus berupaya ekstra adalah betapa "sepi"nya film ini. Ya, tidak disarankan untuk menontonnya ketika kantuk melanda, apalagi film ini sangat mengandalkan dialog yang bukan bahasa yang lazim bagi kita (Inggris atau Indonesia).
  
  Dan yang paling saya suka adalah pemilihan ending yang tak disangka-sangka.

  Girato tanto bene da non sembrare manco italiano, #Perfettisconosciuti fa ridere e godere il cervello. E tira la corda senza mai spezzarla.
