A solid and moving look at the damaging effects of masculine identity, and the ways that this can be challenged. The Mask You Live In, whilst at times very unstructured and often broad in its assertions, is nevertheless fairly level-headed and appropriately deals with its subject material without ever turning into "man bashing".
