This movie is not for everyone.  It fits within the mumble-core movement, with its natural feel and spontaneous dialogue.  The movie did explore the different behaviors of men and women while relying on sexual tension.

the acting & dialogue was so natural i forgot it was a film sometimes

I hated every character in this movie, but it does an admirable job of making the viewer uncomfortable.

I feel like if I'd watched this movie on a different day and in a different state of mind I probably wouldn't have liked it quite as much, but as it turns out this film was exactly what I needed to see today.

It felt intimate and personal, with some great acting that drew me in from the beginning.

Not to everybody's taste I'm sure, but I really enjoyed it.

If this came out in 1995 it would be one of the most prominent films of the past 25 years. Now it's just a well-made indie. Its titles owe a lot to Godard, but fortunately that influence is present in more sophisticated and subtle ways.
